Missio Dei Church Community is a local church expression birthed out of Oregon City, Oregon. We are a family of Missional Communities united by the common purpose of living out the Gospel where we live, work, and play. We gather as people of the Gospel and scatter to be the presence of God to our world.

Weekend & Weekday Gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church to serve, pray, learn the Scriptures, and worship together as the people of God. Throughout the week, we scatter in smaller family groups (Missional Communities) in homes across our community. In addition, we gather regularly as brothers and sisters who are in similar stages of life and passions to grow together in our discipleship to Jesus. We love just doing life together!

Missional Communities are the primary and intentional way that we foster our faith and aspire to be the people of Jesus in our region during the week. In these small, intimate groups, we are on the mission of God—as the family of God—making disciples of Jesus. We scatter throughout the world to plant churches, do justice, and impact the world with the Gospel. Our Missional Communities are knit together locally through the Missio Dei Church Community, and globally into the greater body of Christ—sharing the call to be His church to the entire world. We believe that God has gifted His church to transcend geographic and ethnic borders, and that we grow locally when we connect globally.

“We minister to each other and have a meaningful time sharing in each other’s lives with the gifting that the Lord has given to each of us. I am happy to be a part of this special place.”

Live it out is not simply a catchy tagline, but an invitation to encounter Christ, to embrace the Gospel life, and to live on mission — a calling rooted in our passion and practice.  It is a guiding mantra that helps us form our culture and focus our vision.
