Men's Ministry at the Epicenter For 10 years now, EI has impacted men's lives by hosting a men's ministry that centers around studies of relevant and impactful books. It is a time of connection, relationship, and growth as we use these books as a catalyst for change.
We are starting our next study around Rod Dreher's book "Live Not By Lies: A Manual for Christian Dissidents". Join us for this six month journey every Monday morning 7am-8:30am starting June 7. We meet in-person at the Epicenter or online via Zoom. Text 503-655-4500 and let us know you're interested and we'll get back to you with details.
Epicenter In Action! We hosted several amazing conferences in-person and streaming at the Epicenter last month, and have more to come.
The first session of THE IDENTITY CONFERENCE welcomed over 60 participants, including a number of students from the PNW. The "Breakout Rooms" were the hit of this event, where we got to discuss the material with experts in small and welcoming groups. Don't miss the second session of this conference May 15...Scroll down for details.
We also hosted the 15th Annual Q Culture Summit, which was a two-day conference featuring many of today's cultural influencers giving short but relevant talks on the church and culture. We have access to all of the materials, and hope to host events around specific topics that were covered.
In addition to the second ID Conference, we're also hosting Right Now Media's Work As Worship Retreat, May 21 from 10am-4pm. Scroll down for details:
Finally, the Epicenter hosted a presentation for Master Networks by Chris Angell of Groundswell Media on how to create content that connects.
Our Portland Reasons To Believe Chapter is partnering with Ratio Christi to host second session of THE IDENTITY CONFERENCE May 15, 1pm-3pm. These fast-paced, interactive on-line events feature six leading thinkers on the science and culture of human identity. Click here for free registration. Limited in-person space at the Epicenter, click here to RSVP to attend in person. How do we worship God through our work? Find out at the Work As Worship Retreat, livestream hosted locally at the Epicenter May 21, 10am-4pm. Register here. Master Networks featured Chris Angell of Groundswell Media, coaching on creating content that connects. It was a great opportunity to showcase the Epicenter as a collaboration and training space.
